obtained from Biosynthesis, unless otherwise stated. HPLC grade acetonitrile
(MeCN) was purchased from Fisher. Aqueous buffers and aqueous mobile
phases for HPLC were prepared using water purified with an Elga Purelab
Milli-Q water purification system (purified to 18.2 MΩ cm) and
filtered over 0.45 μm filters.

Phenylethanoid Glycoside Compound Isolation

The authentic phenylethanoid glycoside compounds were purchased as follows: acteoside (purity 98.0%) from Dalian Meilun Biological Technology Co., Ltd. (Dalian, China); isoacteoside (purity 98.0%) from Chengdu Push Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. (Chengdu, China); and genistein (internal standard, IS) from Shanghai Aladdin Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd. HPLC-grade acetonitrile (MeCN) and methanol were purchased from Fisher Scientific Co., Ltd. (St. Louis, MO, USA). HPLC-grade formic acid was obtained from Shanghai Macklin Biochemical Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China), and experimental water was purified by a Milli-Q Reagent Water System (Millipore, Burlington, MA, USA).

(A Chem Tek, Tianjin, China) and Beijing Manhattan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China). (Be Pure, Beijing, China). The internal standard triphenyl phosphate (1ST20129-1000A, 1000 μg/mL) was obtained from Tianjin Alta Scientific Co., Ltd. (A Chem Tek, China).

Isolation and Purification of Ranae Oviductus

The petroleum ether, guanidine hydrochloride, and ammonium sulfate analytical grade were purchased from Beijing Chemical Factory (Beijing, China). The dithiothreitol (DTT) and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). The HPLC-grade acetonitrile (MeCN) and HPLC-grade methanol were purchased from Fisher (Fisher Scientific, USA). The ultrapure water was obtained from a gradient water purification system (Water Purifier, Sichuan, China).
Ranae Oviductus, bullfrog oviduct, toad oviduct and frog oviduct were provided by Jilin Province Rana Industry Association which were collected from the Changbai Mountain area in the Jilin province of China. The specific location is shown on the map in Figure 1. Ten batches of Ranae Oviductus samples were collected from different regions from the main producing area of the Changbai Mountain range. The specific collection information is shown in Table 1.

Synthesis and Purification of DMT-dA, DMT-dG, DMT-dC, and DMT-dT Phosphoramidites

Triethylamine was from Alpha Aesar (Kandel, Germany). 5′-DMT-dA Bz -, 5′-DMT-dT-, 5′-DMT-dC Ac -, and 5′-DMT-dG iBu -CPG with a pore size of 1000 Å and loading capacity of 42-45 μmol/g were from BioAutomation (Irving, TX). The BigDye Terminator v3.1 cycle sequencing kit from Applied Biosystems (Waltham, MA) was used for sequencing.

Microsomes were shipped on liquid nitrogen and stored at −80 °C prior to use. β-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate sodium (NADP), glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, glucose-6-phosphate, ammonium acetate, glacial acetic acid, and magnesium chloride were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Castle Hill, NSW, Australia). High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) grade acetonitrile (MeCN) and methanol (MeOH) were purchased from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Macquarie Park, NSW, Australia). Water was purified via a Milli-Q water purification system (Merk Millipore, Burlington, MA, USA).
