Nod cg prkdcscid il2rgtm1wjl szj female mice

Manufactured by Jackson ImmunoResearch

NOD.Cg-Prkdcscid IL2rgtm1Wjl/SzJ female mice are a strain of genetically modified mice. These mice have a severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) mutation and lack functional T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells, making them useful for research involving human cell engraftment.

KE-39 and CAT12 cells were prepared in a 1:1 ratio of Matrigel to medium and 3 × 106 CAT12 and 5 × 106 KE-39 cells were prepared in a 1:1 ratio of Matrigel to medium (Matrigel; Corning) and injected subcutaneously into the flanks of NOD.Cg-Prkdcscid IL2rgtm1Wjl/SzJ female mice (6–8 weeks old) purchased from Jackson Laboratory. Treatment was initiated when tumors reached 100–150 mm3. Electronic calipers were used for tumor measurements twice a week and tumor volumes were calculated using the following formula: volume = length × width2 × 0.5. Mice were sacrificed when tumors reached the endpoint. Dissected tumors were snap-frozen and stored at –80°C or were fixed in 10% buffered formalin for histopathologic process.

NOD.Cg-Prkdcscid Il2rgtm1Wjl/SzJ female mice were obtained from The Jackson Laboratory and housed in Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory facilities. All mice used in these studies were female. Mice were group housed under a 12:12 light/dark cycle with access to food and water ad libitum. All animals were handled in accordance with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory IACUC and AAALAC approved protocols and other ethics guidelines.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
