The fluorescent probes carboxyfluorescein (CF), 1,1′-Dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-tetramethylindodicarbocyanine perchlorate (DiD), and Alexa 488, Alexa 555 C5 maleimide, Dextran 3000-Alexa 488 and Dextran 10000-Alexa 647 were obtained from Invitrogen (Eugene, OR, USA). Solvents and chemicals were of the highest commercial purity available.
