Nacetyl-d-glucosaminidase (NAG) and kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1) were purchased from Shionogi & Co., Ltd., (Osaka, Japan).
In addition, parts of the renal cortical tissue were dried overnight and the dry weight was recorded. The samples were then dissolved with equal volumes of 30% (w/v) H2O2 and 70% (w/v) nitric acid, and the clear solution was diluted with ultrapure water (1:3). Renal platinum ion concentration was analyzed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (Optima 2100 DV, PerkinElmer, UK) with sample-based standards.
