Mitochondrial Proteome Analysis in Frozen Tissue

Frozen cortex tissue samples were lysed by mechanical homogenization with RIPA buffer containing protease and phosphatase inhibitors, and analyzed by SDS–PAGE and western blot. Subsequently, the concentration of extracted protein was determined by using the Bio-Rad Protein Assay. Pixel intensity was quantified by using ImageJ software.
