Thirty oocytes were lysed in SDS sample buffer (2% SDS, 0.125 M Tris, 0.2% 2-mercaptoethanol, 10% glycerol, 0.01% Bromophenol Blue). Protein bands were blotted with primary antibodies and ECL anti-rabbit or mouse IgG HRP-linked whole antibody (GE Healthcare) as the secondary antibody. To quantify the results, we used ImageQuant software in an Image Analyzer LAS 4000 mini (GE Healthcare) or Amersham Imager 680 (GE Healthcare).
