Mouse anti β actin mab
Mouse anti-β-actin mAb is a monoclonal antibody that recognizes the β-actin protein, a ubiquitous cytoskeletal protein found in all eukaryotic cells. This antibody can be used for the detection and quantification of β-actin in various applications such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry.

Investigating EGF Signaling Pathways
Mouse anti-Cx43, anti-Cx32 and anti-Cx26 were purchased from Invitrogen and, mouse anti-β-actin mAb, HRP-anti-rabbit and HRP-anti-mouse IgG from Cell Signaling Technology (Billerica, CA, USA). EGFR blocking humanized antibody (Cetuximab) and humanized IgE (Omalizumab) were kind gifts from Roche (Nutley, NJ, USA).
EGFR signaling inhibition was achieved using the following inhibitors: Erlotinib (10 μM, IC50=5–20 μM), SP600125 (25 μM, IC50=10–50 μM), PD98059 (5 μM, IC50=5–10 μM) and U0126 70 μM, IC50=50–70 μM). SP600125, PD98059 and U0126 were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA) and Erlotinib was purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Santa Cruz, CA, USA).

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
