HOXA5 is a protein-coding gene that is part of the homeobox (HOX) gene family. The HOX genes play a crucial role in embryonic development and cellular differentiation. HOXA5 is involved in regulating the expression of other genes and is important for the proper development of various tissues and organs.

Western Blot Analysis of ADAM17 and HOXA5

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cells were treated in lysis buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl, 0.5% sodium deoxycholate, 25 mM EDTA) containing protease inhibitor cocktail (Roche) for 30 min on ice. Equal amounts of protein were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE gels, and transferred onto polyvinylidene di uoride membranes. After blocked with 5% skim milk solution for 2 hours, incubated with antibodies against ADAM17(Abcam) or HOXA5(Santa Cruz) or β-actin (proteintech) at 4℃ over night. The appropriate horseradish-conjugated secondary antibody was incubated for 1 hour at room temperature, the signal of protein was revealed using the chemiluminescence method (ECL, AURAGENE). Band intensities were quanti ed using BIO-RAD image analysis software.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
