=99%) were purchased from RCI Labscan and BDH, England, respectively.

= 84.99 g/mol) were purchased from J.T. Baker and Panreac, respectively.
NaOH, hyperbranched polyethylenimine (HPEI), and all other chemicals
were analytically graded and used as received.
