C. albicans SC5314, C. albicans ATCC90028, Candida glabrata ATCC2001, Candida parapsilosis ATCC22019, and Candida tropicalis ATCC7349 bought from China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) were maintained on yeast extract-peptone-dextrose (YPD) agar medium (1% yeast extract, 2% peptone, 2% dextrose, and 2% agar). Before each test, a colony was picked up and transferred into 5 mL YPD medium in a sterile tube and incubated overnight at 28°C with rotation (140 rpm).
Candida parapsilosis atcc22019
Candida parapsilosis ATCC22019 is a strain of the fungus Candida parapsilosis, which is maintained at the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center. It serves as a reference strain for quality control and research purposes.

Antifungal Activity Evaluation of Dioscin
C. albicans SC5314, C. albicans ATCC10231, Candida glabrata ATCC2001, and Candida parapsilosis ATCC22019 were obtained from China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC). All these strains were maintained on YPD (yeast extract 1%, peptone 2%, dextrose 2%) medium and stored at -80°C. Before each test, a colony from fungal strains subcultured twice on YPD agar was transferred into YPD medium and incubated overnight at 30°C with a speed of 140 rpm for propagation.
Dioscin was bought from Solarbio Life Sciences. N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (GlcNAc), XTT, MTT, menadione, propidium iodide (PI), and RPMI-1640 medium were bought from Sigma.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
