Factors Influencing Patient Perception of EHR Adoption

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Independent samples t-tests were employed to examine the statistic differences in patient experience between certified EHR adoption (coded as “1”) and paper-based/non-certified EHR (coded as “0”). However, previous research have indicated that patient experience may potentially be correlated to hospital characteristics including ownership, [35 , 36 (link)] hospital location, [36 (link), 37 ] hospital bed size, [38 (link), 39 ] and teaching status [40 (link)]. To determine independent association between certified EHR adoption and outcome of patient perception, variables about hospital characteristics were entered into a multiple linear regression model that also accounted for significant correlations between variables. The regression model is given below/ was as follows.
Patient experience = ƒ(certified EHR adoption, bed size, urban location, teaching status, ownership, affiliation).
All p values were 2-tailed and p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Data analyses were conducted using IBM SPSS statistical software program, version 24.0 (IBM SPSS, 2017).

Evaluation of Organic Fertilizers on Nutrients, Bioactive Compounds, and Antioxidant Activity

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Analysis of variance was carried out for all the datasets. One-way ANOVA with Tukey’s honestly significant difference test were carried out to analyze the effects of organic fertilizers on nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, and minerals), bioactive compounds (vitamin E, total phenols, ascorbate, and flavonoid), and antioxidant capacity (ABTS, DPPH, FRAP, and ferrozine). SYSTAT 13.2 – Powerful Statistical Analysis and Graphics Software for Windows 7 was used for all the statistical analyses. Effects were significant at p ≤ 0.05.
The analysis of variance and multivariate analysis of aroma profiles were performed with SPSS statistical software program (version 20, IBM Statistics, New York, NY, US).
Principle component analysis (PCA-XLSTAT software version 2015.5, Addinsoft, Paris, France) was performed both for the evaluation of volatile compounds datasets and to the data fusion approach (derive the first two principal components from the metabolic and antioxidant dataset and aroma profiles obtained by UFGC and GC-QTOF/MS analysis). Data management of all aroma compounds datasets was carried out using principal component analysis (PCA) on peak areas that were automatically calculated by the software that controls each instrument.

Statistical Analysis of Categorical and Continuous Data

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Statistical analyses were performed using the SPSS statistical software program, version 25.0 (IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY, USA). Categorical data were presented as proportions or percentages (%), and comparisons between groups were analyzed using the χ2 test with a significance level of α = 0.05, considering P < 0.05 as statistically significant differences. Continuous variables were expressed as median and interquartile range, as normality tested by using normal probability cumulative distribution chart method, was not met. Comparison between groups was thus performed using Mann-Whitney U-test.

Parental COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Factors

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Data analyses were performed with use of the IBM SPSS Statistical Software program (version 19). All hypotheses were tested at a significance level of 0.05. χ2 tests or Fisher exact tests were used for categorical variables. Mann-Whitney U-tests were used to compare independent groups on continuous variables lacking a normal distribution. Subgroup analyses were performed for Shandong and Zhejiang parents.
Parental COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy was used as a dependent variable, while independent variables were: age, sex, marital status, working status, occupational classification, education level, number of hours worked per day, residence, yearly household income, number of children raised, history of children's COVID-19 infection, vaccination in the past 3 years, adverse effects of any vaccinations, a history of COVID-19 infection in family members, attendance at COVID-19 vaccination lectures, SSRS (i.e., objective, subjective, or utilization of support) and PACV domains (behavior, safety and efficacy, and general attitudes). There is no linear relationship between parental vaccine hesitancy and the independent variables. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed using stepwise variable selection with all variables entered into the model to evaluate the independent influence of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among Shandong and Zhejiang parents.

Quantifying ROCK and Cofilin Signaling

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
MetaMorph software (v. 6.0; Molecular Devices, Boston, MA, USA) was used to analyze the cell image data. Average background signal was determined as the mean fluorescence intensity from a blank area and was subtracted from the raw image before carrying out FRET calculations. The mean intensity of a ROI of the corrected FRET image was measured. Western blotting results were normalized with GAPDH. The mean and standard deviation were used to express protein levels of ROCK, p-ROCK, cofilin-2, p-cofilin-2, LIMK, and p-LIMK1. Statistical analyses were performed using the SPSS statistical software program (v. 17.0; IBM, Chicago, IL, USA). Data were expressed as means ± S.E.M. Independent experiments were performed thrice. Statistical analysis was performed with student’s t-test. p values less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant.

Predictors of Psychological Distress in Integration

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The online survey was created using the SurveyXact online survey platform.2 A report and data set were exported from the SurveyXact to SPSS statistical software program (IBM Corp, 2020 ). We started with the preliminary analysis and examining the intercorrelations between all study variables. The study relied on the item-total score correlations in evaluating individual responses to the HSCL-25, based on the full 25 items instead of subscales (Lhewa et al., 2007 (link); Lee et al., 2008 (link); Vindbjerg et al., 2021 (link)). Next, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the ability of the different integration variables in predicting psychological distress (measured by HSCL), after controlling for age and education. Due to the lack of significance, gender was not included in the regression analysis. Scores on psychological, social, and linguistic integration and the single items of the navigational and economic scales were included as predictors in the analysis. We also calculated 95% confidence intervals for the regression coefficients based on robust standard errors (see Table 2).

Evaluating Aesthetic Perception of Metal Archwires

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To evaluate intrarater agreement, two identical images were printed and mounted in the album together with the other photographs. The evaluators’ scores for these duplicate photographs were analyzed using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC).
To analyze the measurement reproducibility, the scales of 30 evaluators were re-measured after an interval of four weeks. A paired t test was applied with the purpose of evaluating the significance of the differences between the two measurements, thus demonstrating the systematic error. The Dahlberg formula (Se2= ∑d2/2n) was used to evaluate the casual error.
Descriptive statistics were reported as means and standard deviations. The measurements were submitted to the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to evaluate the data distribution. To evaluate laypersons’ aesthetic perceptions of metal archwires with and without aesthetic coating, the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the Tukey post-hoc test were applied. These tests were also used to compare the three age groups. To evaluate the archwires’ aesthetic perception between genders, the Mann-Whitney test was applied. The level of significance was established at 5%. All analyses were performed with the SPSS statistical software program (version 21.0, IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York, USA).

Statistical Analysis Methods in Scientific Studies

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All statistical analyses were performed with use of the IBM SPSS Statistical Software program (version 19). In the current study, numerical data were presented as counts (percentage of the total), and χ2 tests were used to compare group differences of categorical variables, while Mann-Whitney tests were used to compare independent groups on continuous variables that were non-normally distributed. Descriptive statistics included mean values and standard deviations for continuous and non-normally distributed data, with the ANOVA used to assess group differences. Bonferroni's post hoc multiple comparison tests were used to assess pairwise differences among groups. A p value of <0.05 was required for results to be considered as statistically significant.
