Western Blotting Antibodies and Reagents

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The following antibodies were used for Western-blotting: β-actin (A2066; Sigma), gB (6506; Abcam), p-ERK (4370; cell signaling) and p-IκBα (9246; Cell Signaling). Mitoxantrone dihydrochloride was purchased from sigma (M6545). HSV-1 ICP6 polyclonal antibody was generated against the N-terminal peptide of ICP6. TNF-α recombinant protein was generated according to previously instruction [38 (link)].

Cell Line Treatment and Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For short-term exposure, cell lines were plated in 6-well plates at a confluency of 70%. Cell lines were treated with 100 nmol/L of mitoxantrone dihydrochloride (Sigma-Aldrich), 100 nmol/L of daunorubicin dihydrochloride (Sigma-Aldrich), or vehicle (DMSO 0.1% v/v). Cell lysates or cell pellets were harvested after 48 hours of treatment for analysis by western blot and IHC.

Mitoxantrone-based Liposome Characterization

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mitoxantrone dihydrochloride, NaTC, NaTDC and the spin probes 5-DSA, 12-DSA and 16-DSA were analytical grade and supplied by Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). All the compounds were used without further purification. Experiments were performed in 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) and 0.1 M carbonate buffer (pH 10) and deionized water (18.2 MΩcm, Mili-Q water purification system) was used for the preparation of solutions.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
