Drosophila Rab11 Genetic Manipulation

The Rab11ΔFRT [26 (link)] was kindly provided by Dr. O. Schuldiner. spn-F2 [30 (link)], ppk-eGFP [47 (link)], ppk-GAL4 [48 (link)] and UAS-IKKεIR [31 (link)] have been described previously. UAS-mCD8RFP was kindly provided by Dr. Y.N. Jan. The following stocks were obtained from Bloomington Stock Center: UAS-YFP-Rab11 (#9790); FRT82B, tubP-GAL80 (#5135); UAS-Luciferase-dsRNAs (#31603); ppk-CD4-tdTom (#35845); GSG2295 (#40266). The UAS-Rab11-dsRNAs (#108382) was obtained from the Vienna Drosophila RNAi Center (VDRC). The SOP-FLPs (#109944, #109945) were obtained from the Kyoto Stock Center. Flies were raised with regular fly foods at 25°C. Transgenic flies UAS-Rab11-GFP, UAS-Rab11-CA-GFP and UAS-Rab11-DN-GFP were generated by standard P-element mediated transformation.
