Edta coated vacutainer tubes

Manufactured by Greiner
Sourced in Austria

EDTA-coated vacutainer tubes are blood collection tubes used to collect and store blood samples. The tubes are coated with EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), an anticoagulant that helps prevent the blood from clotting during collection and storage.

Neutrophil Isolation from Human Blood

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Human peripheral blood samples (2–5 mL) in EDTA‐coated vacutainer tubes (Greiner Bio‐One) were obtained from EWS patients and healthy volunteers. Neutrophils were isolated with the EasySep Direct Human Neutrophil isolation kit (StemCell Technologies Inc.) by immunomagnetic negative selection according to the manufacturer's instructions. The number of isolated neutrophils was quantified with a Beckman Coulter DxH800 hematology analyzer (Beckman Coulter Inc.), and the final concentration was adjusted to 107/mL in RPMI without phenol red.

Isolation of Human Neutrophils

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Human peripheral blood samples (2–5 mL) in EDTA-coated vacutainer tubes (Greiner Bio-One, Austria) were obtained from all participants at each time point. Fresh blood was processed within 60 min of withdrawal. Neutrophils were isolated using EasySep Direct Human Neutrophil isolation kit (StemCell Technologies Inc., Canada), based on immunomagnetic negative selection, according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The number of isolated neutrophils was quantified using Beckman coulter DxH800 (Beckman Coulter Inc., CA, USA), and the final concentration was adjusted to 107/ml in RPMI.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
