8.0×104 HL60 cells differentiated as above were spun onto Cytoslide microscope slides (ThermoFisher) using a Cytospin 4 low speed cytocentrifuge (Thermo Scientific), then stained with the Kwik-Diff staining system (Thermo Shandon) following manufacturer’s recommendations. Microphotographs were taken on a LEITZ LABORLUX S polarizing light microscope at 400X magnification using a Nikon DSLR digital camera.
