LPS-induced Inflammation in RAW264.7 and HUVEC Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
RAW264.7 cells (ATCC number: TIB-71) were maintained in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM, Gibco) supplemented with 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum (FBS, Gibco) under humidified 5% CO2 at 37°C. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) (KeyGen, KG419) were maintained in EBM-2 medium (Lonza) supplemented with SingleQuot Bullet Kit (Lonza) under humidified 5% CO2 at 37°C. For the LPS model, the cells were inoculated in a six-well plate and treated with different concentrations of PF 24 h later (10−4, 10−5, 10−6, and 10−7 M), 4 h before stimulation with LPS (Sigma, 1 μg/ml), and 12 h after stimulation with LPS, the protein of cells was extracted from the six-well plate.

Cell culture of HUVEC and MCF-7 lines

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Ishikawa, HUVEC and estrogen receptor-positive MCF-7 cell lines were obtained from KeyGEN Biotechnology. Cells were maintained in RPMI-1640(Gibco, Carlsbad, CA) medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum (Gibco, Carlsbad, CA) and 1% penicillin-streptomycin at 37°C in 5% CO2, unless otherwise mentioned.

Cell Culture Protocol for Diverse Cell Lines

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
WRL-68, MCF-7, Caco-2, HUVEC, E0771, and HBL-100 were obtained from Nanjing Keygen Biotech. WRL-68, MCF-7, Caco-2, and HUVEC cells were cultured in DMEM cell culture medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and 1% penicillin/streptomycin, and E0771 and HBL-100 cells were cultured in the same formulation of RPMI-1640 cell culture media. All cells were maintained at 37 °C in a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO2 with regular sub-culturing.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
