Strep tag 2

Manufactured by GenScript

Strep tag II is a short peptide tag used for the identification and purification of recombinant proteins. It can be fused to the N- or C-terminus of a target protein and recognized by Strep-Tactin, a modified streptavidin derivative. This system allows for efficient and gentle affinity-based purification of the tagged protein.

Multiparametric Flow Cytometry Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Conjugated antibodies specific for CD4, CD8, CD25, CD137, CD45, CD62L,
CD27, CD28 (BD Biosciences), Strep tag II (Genscript), EGFR (ImClone Systems)
and Vβ22 (Beckman Coulter) were used for staining analysis by flow
cytometry. Biotinylated antibodies were stained with Streptavidin-PE (BD
Biosciences, San Jose, CA). T cells transduced with the NY-BR-1 TCR were
analyzed by flow cytometry after staining with antibodies specific for CD8,
Strep-tag II, Vβ22, and MHC-tetramers loaded with NY-BR-1 peptide (FHCRC
Immune Monitoring Lab). Staining with propidium iodide (PI, BD Biosciences) was
used for live/dead cell discrimination as directed by the manufacturer. Flow
analyses were done on a FACS Canto II (Becton Dickinson, Franklin Lakes, NJ).
Data were analyzed using FlowJo software (Treestar).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
