Ltq ft mass spectrometry

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

The LTQ FT mass spectrometry system is a high-performance analytical instrument designed for detailed molecular analysis. It combines a linear ion trap (LTQ) with a Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass analyzer, providing high mass accuracy and resolving power for the identification and characterization of complex samples.

Cys40-exendin-4 Conjugation with BaMalSar

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
BaMalSar was prepared as previously reported28 (link), which is available at KeraFAST, Inc28 (link). Cys40-exendin-4 (2.2 mg 0.5 µmol) was added to pH 7.0 phosphate buffer containing 0.4 mg BaMalSar (0.6 µmol) (Fig. 1A). The solution was stirred at room temperature for 1 h and the product was purified by HPLC (Rt: 22.23 min). The product was characterized by LTQ FT mass spectrometry (Thermo, Waltham, MA) (BaMalSar-exendin-4: m/z 4992.52 for [MH]+, C223H338N60O67S2, calculated [MH]+: 4992.43).

Synthesis and Characterization of Mal2Sar-(Exendin-4)2

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mal2Sar was prepared as previously reported28 (link). Cys40-exendin-4 (3.3 mg, 0.8 µmol) was added to phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) containing Mal2Sar (0.3 mg, 0.36 µmol) (Fig. 1B). The solution was stirred at room temperature and the product was purified by HPLC (Rt: 13.08 min). At a flow rate of 1 mL/min, the mobile phase was maintained at 70% solvent A [0.1% TFA) in water] and 30% B [0.1% TFA in MeCN] from 0-2 min and was changed to 35% solvent A and 65% solvent B through 2-37 min. The product was characterized by LTQ FT mass spectrometry (Thermo, Waltham, MA) (Mal2Sar-(exendin-4)2: m/z 9402.64 for [MH]+, C416H630N112O130S4, calculated[MH]+: 9402.50).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
