Mouse specific elisa kits

Manufactured by Crystal Chem
Sourced in United States

Mouse-specific ELISA kits are laboratory tools designed to quantify target analytes in mouse samples. These kits utilize the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique to detect and measure specific proteins or other biomolecules of interest. The core function of these kits is to provide a standardized and reliable method for researchers to analyze mouse-derived samples.

Glucose and Insulin Dynamics in Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mixed-meal tolerance tests (MMTTs) were performed 14 days prior to and 13 days post-surgery. Mice were fasted for 6 h and tail vein blood was collected for basal blood glucose and insulin measurements. Subsequently, mice were gavaged with 200 μL of Osmolite HiCal liquid diet enriched with 20% dextrose. Tail vein blood was collected after 15, 30, 60, and 120 min to assess glucose and circulating insulin levels during the MMTT. Blood glucose was quantified in plasma using mouse glucose assay kit (CrystalChem, #81692). Levels of circulating insulin were assayed in plasma using mouse-specific ELISA kits (CrystalChem, #90080).

Quantifying GLP-1 and Insulin Levels

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Total GLP-1 and insulin levels in plasma samples were determined using mouse-specific ELISA kits (Crystal Chem, IL, USA) as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. For the GLP-1 ELISA, 10 µL of plasma diluted 1:5 in buffer solution was used for the assay. For the insulin ELISA, 5 µL of plasma was used per sample. Results are presented as absolute values for GLP-1 and change (delta) in insulin compared to 0-min timepoint for insulin.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
