Recombinant human crp
Recombinant human CRP (Catalog # 1707-CR) is a 231 amino acid protein produced in a mammalian cell expression system. It is a member of the pentraxin family of proteins and functions as an acute-phase reactant during inflammation.

The human adherent pNEN cell line QGP1 was purchased from the Japanese Cancer Research Resources Bank (JCRB), which is part of the National Institutes of Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition and was cultivated as a monolayer in T-75 flasks in RPMI 1640 supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (Life Technologies) and penicillin/streptomycin (100 IU/mL) at 37°C with 5% CO2.
To investigate the role of CRP as well as inflammation in pNEN cell proliferation and metastasis, BON1 and QGP1 cells were treated with the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-6 (recombinant human IL-6, 25 ng/ml, Cell Signaling) or recombinant human CRP (20 µg/mL) (R&D Systems) for 48 h.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
