Sensolyte nadp nadph assay

Manufactured by AnaSpec
Sourced in United States

The SensoLyte NADP/NADPH Assay is a colorimetric kit designed to measure the levels of NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) and NADPH (reduced form of NADP) in biological samples. The assay provides a simple and sensitive method for quantifying these important cofactors.

Cellular Oxidative Status Profiling

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Total intracellular ROS was determined by staining the cells with carboxy-H2DCFDA (Invitrogen); 2 × 105 cells were incubated with 10 mM carboxy-H2DCFDA for 30 min at 37°C. Cells were washed and analyzed by flow cytometry (BD FACSCanto; BD Biosciences, San Jose, CA, USA). Intracellular NADPH level and GSH/GSSG ratio were determined using fluorimetric SensoLyte NADP/NADPH Assay (AnaSpec, Fremont, CA, USA) and GSH/GSSG-Glo (Promega) as per manufacturer’s recommendations, respectively.

Quantification of Cellular Oxidative Stress

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Total intracellular Cellular ROS was determined by staining the cells with carboxy-H2DCFDA (Invitrogen) and mitochondrial ROS level was determined by using a specific mitochondrial H2O2 probe, MitoPY1 (Sigma) as previously described (Dickinson and Chang, 2008 (link); Dickinson et al., 2013 ). 2×105 cells were incubated with 10 µM carboxy-H2DCFDA or 10 µM of MitoPY1 for 30 min at 37°C. Cells were washed and analyzed by flow cytometry (BD FACSCanto). Intracellular NADPH level and GSH/GSSG ratio were determined using fluorimetric SensoLyte NADP/NADPH Assay (AnaSpec) and GSH/GSSG-Glo™ (Promega), respectively.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
