Native page novex 4 16 bis tris gels

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United States

The Native PAGE Novex 4-16% Bis-Tris Gels are electrophoresis gels designed for the separation and analysis of native, non-denatured proteins. The gels feature a polyacrylamide matrix with a gradient of 4-16% for the effective separation of a wide range of protein sizes.

Molecular Mass Determination of LBCZ_0230 via Blue Native PAGE

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
An analysis of blue native PAGE33) (link) was performed under nondenaturing conditions to determine the molecular mass of LBCZ_0230. The analytical sample was prepared using a Native PAGE Sample Prep Kit (Life Technologies Corporation, Carlsbad, CA, USA). Electrophoresis was conducted on Native PAGE Novex 4-16 % Bis-Tris Gels (Life Technologies) at 150 V for 115 min on ice. Molecular mass was calibrated using Native Mark Unstained Standard (Life Technologies).

Native PAGE Analysis of Mitochondrial Complexes

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Isolated mitochondria were solubilized in the extraction buffer (1.5 M aminocaproic acid, 50 mM Bis-Tris, 0.5M EDTA and pH 7) containing 1.3% lauryl maltoside or 8 g digitonin / g protein. Samples comprising 20–30 μg of protein were then mixed with the sample buffer (0.75 M aminocaproic acid, 50 mM Bis-Tris, 0.5M EDTA, pH 7, 5% Serva-Blue G-250 and 12% glycerol) and loaded on the precast NativePAGE Novex 4–16% Bis-Tris gels (Life Technologies) and run overnight at a constant voltage of 25 V. Separated protein complexes were then transferred to the PVDF membrane (Millipore), using the Trans-Blot Turbo transfer system (Biorad, Hercules, CA, USA). CII was detected with the anti-SDHA (2E3) antibody (Abcam, AB14715-200).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
