Annexin 5 allophycocyanin annexin 5 apc apoptosis detection kit

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United States

The Annexin V-allophycocyanin (Annexin V-APC) apoptosis detection kit is a laboratory tool used to detect and quantify apoptosis, a programmed cell death process. The kit utilizes Annexin V, a protein that binds to phosphatidylserine, a molecule exposed on the surface of apoptotic cells. The Annexin V is conjugated with the fluorescent dye allophycocyanin, allowing for the identification and measurement of apoptotic cells using flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy.

The apoptotic cells were detected using Annexin V-allophycocyanin (Annexin V-APC) apoptosis detection kit (eBioscience, San Diego, CA, USA). The process of culturing infected cells in growth medium is the same as before. After trypsinization and PBS washes, the cells were washed with 1× binding buffer and centrifuged at 1300 rpm for 3 min. Then, the cell pellet was resuspended in 200 µL of 1× binding buffer, and Fadu cells were stained with 10 µL Annexin V-APC in the dark for 15 min and detected by ow cytometry using the FACS system.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
