Immunohistochemical Analysis of Protein Expression

Tissue specimens were sectioned to a thickness of 4 micrometers. Slides were immersed in 1X citrate-based unmasking solution and subjected to microwave heating until boiling commenced. Subsequently, slides were maintained at a temperature just below boiling (between 94°C and 97°C) for 15 minutes. Following this, slides were allowed to cool off on the benchtop for 40 min before staining using the UltraSensitive™ SP (Mouse/Rabbit) IHC Kit (Maxim, China).
