Colormixed protein marker 5 245 kd

Manufactured by Solarbio
Sourced in China

The ColorMixed Protein Marker 5–245 kD is a pre-stained protein molecular weight marker. It contains a mixture of colored proteins with a range of molecular weights from 5 to 245 kilodaltons. The marker is designed for use in SDS-PAGE (Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate-Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis) to determine the molecular weights of unknown protein samples.

After pretreatment, both intracellular and membrane protein samples were added to 4× SDS-PAGE loading buffer with DTT (Solarbio Life Science, Beijing, China) and boiled for 10 min. The proteins were separated on 10% SDS-PAGE and visualized using Coomassie Brilliant Blue (20 (link)). ColorMixed Protein Marker 5–245 kD (Solarbio Life Science, Beijing, China) was used to determine the apparent molecular weight of the separated proteins. The differentially expressed proteins were cut and identified by LC-MS/MS (Bruker timsTOF Pro, Germany).

Protein Separation and Visualization

The celles harvested at 48 h were separated into two parts by centrifugation: the medium supernatant and the cell pellets. After pretreated, the extracellular and intracellular protein samples were added with 4 × SDS-PAGE loading buffer with DTT (Solarbio life science, Beijing, China) and boiled for 10 min, respectively. The proteins were separated in 10% SDS-PAGE. ColorMixed Protein Marker 5-245KD (Solarbio life science, Beijing, China) was used to determine the apparent molecular weight of separated proteins. Proteins were visualized with Coomassie Brilliant Blue.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
