Nuclear fractions were collected and incubated in a plate with an HDAC substrate for 90 minutes at 37°C. After washing the plate, the capture antibody was added for 60 minutes, and the detection antibody was added for 30 minutes at room temperature. The absorbance was recorded at 450 nm using a microplate reader (BioTek, Winooski, VT, USA).
