Xanthan gum, Gellan gum, Chitosan was purchased from S.D fine chemicals, Mumbai. Sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, magnesium stearate, talc were purchased from Mapromax, Life sciences Pvt. Ltd., Dehradun. Other solvents and chemicals used in the research were of LR grade. All the studies were carried in distilled water.
