Detergents: n-dodecyl-β-D-maltoside (DDM) was obtained from Cayman Chemical Company. Cholesteryl hemisuccinate (CHS) was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich.

Lipidomic Analysis of Bile Acids and Phospholipids

Taurocholic acid (TCA), tauro-α-muricholic acid (T-α-MCA), tauro-β-muricholic acid (T-β-MCA), and β-muricholic acid (β-MCA) were obtained from Steraloids, Inc. (Newport, RI). 1-palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (PC 34:2) was purchased from Avanti Polar Lipids (Avanti Polar Lipids Inc., Alabaster, AL). N-palmitoyl-D-erythro-sphingosine (C16:0 Cer), N-stearoyl-D-erythro-sphingosine (C18:0 Cer), and N-nervonoyl-D-erythro-sphingosine (C24:1 Cer) were purchased from Cayman Chemical Company (Ann Arbor, MI). All solvents for ultra-performance liquid chromatography and time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-TOFMS) analysis were of the highest grade commercially available.
