Peptide stocks of LY211688 (Bachem Laboratories), α-MSH (Abcam), HS014 (Tocris Bioscience), NDP-α-MSH, ACTH and MT II (Phoenix Pharmaceuticals), VIP and PYY (Cambridge Bioscience) were dissolved in water, and aliquots stored at −20°C. PSN632408 (Cayman Chemical) was dissolved in 95% ethanol. All other compounds were of analytical grade (Sigma-Aldrich).
