Anti klf16

Manufactured by Abcam
Sourced in United States

Anti-KLF16 is a primary antibody that specifically recognizes the Kruppel-like factor 16 (KLF16) protein. KLF16 is a member of the Kruppel-like family of transcription factors and is involved in the regulation of gene expression. The antibody can be used for applications such as Western blotting and immunohistochemistry to detect and study the KLF16 protein.

Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 15 min and incubated with 0.25% of TrisionX100 for 15 min at room temperature. Cells were blocked with 4% BSA in PBS for 1 h and then incubated with anti-TFAM (Abcam, Cambridge, MA, USA), anti-PPARβ (Abcam, Cambridge, MA, USA), anti-KLF16 (Abcam, Cambridge, MA, USA) at 4°C over-night. Nuclear were stained by DAPI and mitochondrion (Mito-Tracker Red CMXRos). The images of was obtained using a Zeiss Axioplan 2 fluorescent microscope (carl Zeiss AG, Oberkochen, Germany) and analysis was performed using Image-pro plus 6.0 (Media Cybernetics, Inc., Rockville, MD, USA) software.

Western Blot Analysis of Cellular Proteins

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Whole-cell protein extracts were prepared from cells (approximately 1 × 10 6 ) lysed in RIPA buffer. Proteins were resolved by 8% SDS-PAGE and transferred onto nitrocellulose membranes (Thermo Scienti c, USA).
The immunoblots were incubated overnight at 4 °C with the following antibodies: anti-HSP90 (Proteintech), anti-STAU1 (Abcam), anti-KLF16 (Abcam), anti-LIPIN1 (Abcam), anti-UPF1 (Santa Cruz Biotechnology), and anti-pUPF1 (Millipore). The membranes were then incubated with horseradish peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody (ZSGB-BIO, Beijing, China) at room temperature for 1 h. Densitometric analysis was performed using Image Lab software (Bio-Rad).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
