Mir 30a mimics

Manufactured by GenePharma
Sourced in China

MiR-30a mimics are a type of small, synthetic RNA molecules designed to mimic the function of the endogenous microRNA miR-30a. MicroRNAs are short non-coding RNA molecules that play important roles in gene expression regulation. The core function of MiR-30a mimics is to provide a tool for studying the biological functions of miR-30a in various cellular and molecular processes.

MiR-30a Mimics Aging Cell Modulation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The miR-30a mimics and negative control (NC) were chemically synthesized by GenePharma Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). The sequences of miR-30a mimics and miR-NC were 5′-UGUAAACAUCCUCGACUGGAAG-3′ and 5′-UUCUCCGAACGUGUCACGUTT-3′, respectively. The aging cells were pre-transfected with miR-30a mimics or miR-NC with a final concentration of 50 nM for 48 h, prior to treatment with rapamycin for 12 h. Lipofectamine 2000 (Invitrogen; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.) was used to transfect oligonucleotides and constructs into cell lines, according to the manufacturer's instructions. The infection efficiency was confirmed by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) or western blotting 48 h post-transfection.

miR-30a Mimic Transfection in Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
miR-30a mimics (20 nmol/l) and negative control (NC) miRNA (20 nmol/l) were acquired from Shanghai GenePharma Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). The miR-30a mimics sequence was 5′-UGUAAACAUCCUCGACUGGAAG-3′. The NC miRNA sequence was 5′-ACAUUUGUAGGAGCUGACCGGC-3′. Lipofectamine 2000® (Invitrogen; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.) was subsequently utilized to perform transient transfection following incubation at 37°C for 6 h. Transfected cells were collected and purified after 48 h incubation.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
