Two color flow cytometer

Manufactured by BD

The two-color flow cytometer is a laboratory instrument that analyzes and measures physical and chemical characteristics of particles, such as cells, suspended in a fluid as they pass through a beam of light. It is designed to detect and quantify two distinct fluorescent labels or markers within a sample.

Apoptosis Detection of SFN and NAC

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cells (4 × 105/well) were plated into 6-well plates. After 24 h-incubation, cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of SFN and/or NAC. After 12 h-, 24 h- and 36 h-incubation, cells were harvested, washed with PBS, and subjected to sequential staining with Annexin V-FITC/PI Apoptosis Detection Kit (Roche Applied Science) by two-color flow cytometer (BD Biosciences, NJ), according to the manufacturer's protocol. Each experiment was performed in triplicate.

Apoptosis Analysis by Flow Cytometry

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cells (1 × 105/well) were plated into 6-well plates, and treated with the indicated concentration of trametinib. After 48 h-incubation, the cells were collected and washed with cold PBS, centrifuged and subjected to sequential staining with Annexin V-FITC/ PI Apoptosis Detection Kit (Roche Applied Science). A total of at least 10000 events were collected and analyzed by two-color flow cytometer (BD Biosciences, NJ). Each experiment was performed in triplicate.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
