Anti cd62p p selectin

Manufactured by BioLegend

Anti-CD62P (P-selectin) is a lab equipment product that detects the expression of the CD62P cell surface antigen, also known as P-selectin. P-selectin is a cell adhesion molecule involved in the initial recruitment of leukocytes to sites of inflammation. This product can be used to measure P-selectin expression on activated platelets and endothelial cells.

Washed platelets (1.5 × 105 platelets/µl) were maintained in Tyrode’s buffer (unactivated) or treated with 30 µM ADP (activated). Both unactivated and activated platelets were incubated for 6 min at room temperature with either control liposomes (Lipo-C, 50 µg/ml) or sulfatide-containing liposomes (Lipo-S, 50 µg/ml) in the absence and presence of 50 µM of one of the following peptides: Dab2 SBP, Dab2 SBP R42A, or Dab2 SBP R42K. Platelets were fixed with 1% formalin in phosphate buffered saline and incubated with phycoerythrin-labelled anti-CD62P (P-selectin; Biolegend) antibody following manufacturer’s instructions. Antibody-bound platelets were quantified using a FacsAria flow cytometer.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
