Bond edta solution

Manufactured by Leica camera

Bond™EDTA solution is a laboratory reagent designed for use in various analytical techniques. It is a buffered solution containing EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), a chelating agent. The primary function of this solution is to complex metal ions, which can be useful in sample preparation and analytical procedures.

Immunohistochemical Analysis of Liver Sections

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Livers were fixed overnight in 4% PFA prior to embedding and sectioning. Paraffin-embedded liver sections (2 μm) were processed for immunohistochemistry (IHC) thereafter. Automated staining was performed on BOND-MAX (Leica Biosystems). Antigen retrieval was carried out with Bond™citrate solution (AR9961, Leica), Bond™EDTA solution (AR9640, Leica) or Bond™ proteolytic enzyme kit (AR9551, Leica) after which sections were incubated with antibodies against antigens in Bond™ primary antibody diluent (AR9352, Leica Biosystems). Primary antibody exposure was followed by secondary antibody (Leica Biosystems) and staining using the Bond Polymer Refine Detection Kit (DS9800, Leica Biosystems). For quantification of stainings, slides were scanned using a SCN400 slide scanner (Leica Biosystems) at 20x magnification.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
