Murine Colon Cancer Cell Lines
Colon 26 (C26) murine colorectal carcinoma cell line was purchased from Cell Resource Center for Biomedical Research (Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan). A human colon carcinoma cell line, DLD-1 and DLD-1/FU (5-FU resistance), was kindly provided by Taiho Pharmaceutical.23 (link) Each cell line was maintained in Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM) (Nissui Pharmaceutical, Tokyo, Japan) and RPMI-1640 medium (Wako Pure Chemical) supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (Japan Bioserum, Hiroshima, Japan), 100 units/mL penicillin, and 100 μg/mL streptomycin (ICN Biomedical, Aurora, OH, USA) in a 5% CO2/air incubator at 37°C, respectively.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
