Donkey anti rabbit and sheep anti mouse horseradish peroxidase conjugated secondary antibodies

Manufactured by GE Healthcare

Donkey anti-rabbit and sheep anti-mouse horseradish peroxidase–conjugated secondary antibodies are laboratory reagents used in immunoassays and immunohistochemistry techniques. They recognize and bind to primary antibodies raised in rabbit or mouse, respectively, and are conjugated with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase. This allows for the detection and visualization of target proteins or molecules in biological samples.

Immunoblot Analysis of STAT3 in GSCs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Protein from GSCs alone or after 48 h in coculture with astrocytes was collected and subjected to immunoblot analyses as described previously 22 (link). Primary antibodies included anti-STAT3, anti-phospho-STAT3 (Y705) (Cell Signaling Technology, Danvers, MA), and anti-β-actin (Sigma-Aldrich). Donkey anti-rabbit and sheep anti-mouse horseradish peroxidase–conjugated secondary antibodies were purchased from GE Healthcare Life Sciences, Pittsburgh, PA.

Immunoblot Analysis of Tumor Samples

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For in vitro experiments, protein was collected and subjected to immunoblot analyses as previously described (17 (link)). For in vivo experiments, GFP-positive human tumor tissue was dissected from the mouse brain and snap frozen in liquid nitrogen. Samples were homogenized (Polytron Brinkman) in lysis buffer (17 (link)) and incubated for 0.5 hour at 4°C; protein was subjected to immunoblot analyses as previous described (17 (link)). Anti-phospho-DNAPK (Ser2056; #ab14918) was obtained from Abcam. Anti-total-DNA-PK was obtained from Thermo-Fisher Scientific. Anti-b-actin and anti-Sox2 (human-specific, #D6D9) were obtained from Cell Signaling Technology. Donkey anti-rabbit and sheep anti-mouse horseradish peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibodies were purchased from GE Healthcare Life Sciences. Bands were quantified by densitometry analysis using Image Studio Lite (LICOR Biosciences).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
