Dynamic Breast MRI Imaging Protocol

A Signa HDxt 3.0 T MRI system (GE Healthcare Life Sciences, Chicago, IL, USA) was used to perform the breast examinations of all patients with the prone position. A dedicated eight-channel double-breast coil was used for the DCE-MRI scans of all patients, which were transverse. For each scan, a pre-contrast series was initially performed and eight post-contrast series were then conducted after an intravenous injection of the contrast agent [0.5 mmol/mL of Omniscan™ (gadodiamide); GE Healthcare, Berlin, Germany] at 4 mL/s (0.15 mmol/kg body weight) with an equal volume of saline. The parameters of the scan were as follows: repetition time = 7.42 ms, echo time = 4.25 ms, flip angle = 15°, slice thickness = 2.20 mm, spacing between slices = 2.20 mm, inversion time = 20 ms, image matrix = 1024 × 1024, time per volume = 80 s, slice number = 78, and field of view = 340 × 340 mm2. Eight post-contrast images subtracted the pre-contrast images to obtain the images of eight subtraction.

Multimodal Neuroimaging of Hemifacial Spasm

Neuroimaging data from patients with HFS and healthy controls were acquired using the GE Signa HDxt 3.0-T MRI system with an eight-channel head coil. Three-dimensional anatomical images were acquired using a magnetization-prepared rapid acquisition gradient echo (MPRAGE) sequence [time of repetition (TR) = 10.7 ms, time of echo (TE) = 4.9 ms, flip angle (FA) = 15°, in-plane resolution = 1 × 1 × 1 mm, matrix size = 256 × 256, field of view (FOV) = 256 × 256 mm, scan duration = 4 min and 51 s]. Next, a resting-state fMRI scan was collected for each subject using gradient echo–echo planar imaging (GRE-EPI; 150 volumes per slice, TR = 2,000 ms, TE = 35 ms, FA = 90°, in-plane resolution = 3.75 × 3.75 × 4 mm, matrix size = 64 × 64, FOV = 240 × 240 mm). Participants were asked to keep their eyes closed and to remain awake during resting-state fMRI. Finally, diffusion-tensor imaging was also collected after the T1-weighted and resting-state fMRI, but was not discussed in this study.

Routine MRI and enhanced gradient echo T2 star weighted angiography (ESWAN) were performed using the GE signa HDXT 3.0T MRI system with 8-channel head coil. All the scan sequence parameters were set the same. The specific scanning sequence and parameters are shown in Table 1.

Breast MRI Diffusion-Weighted Imaging Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All breast MRI examinations were performed with the patient in the prone position using a Signa HDxt 3.0 T MRI system (GE Healthcare Life Sciences, Chicago, IL, USA) with a dedicated eight-channel bilateral breast coil. An axial DWI sequence was performed for all patients. The acquisition parameters were as follows: repetition time, 4000 ms; echo time, 83.30 ms; flip angle, 90°; matrix size, 256 × 256; field of view, 340 m × 340 m; slices, 32; slice thickness, 4.50 mm; spacing between slices, 5 mm; and b values, 0 and 800 s/mm2.
All DWI (b = 0 and 800) data were exported from the PACS at the institution. ADC maps were calculated based on a pixel-by-pixel basis using the following formula: ADC = (lnSI0 − lnSI)/(bb0), where SI0 and SI represent signal intensity obtained with b values of 0 and 800 s/mm2, respectively.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
