Pall cascada lab water purification system

Manufactured by Pall Corporation
Sourced in United States

The Pall Cascada lab water purification system is a water purification device designed for laboratory applications. It utilizes a multi-step filtration process to produce high-quality, purified water. The system's core function is to remove various contaminants, such as particles, microorganisms, and dissolved ions, from the incoming water supply, resulting in water that meets the required purity standards for laboratory use.

Seven SAs standards, i.e., sulfacetamide (SCT), sulfamerazine (SMR), sulfanilamide pyridine (SPD), sulfadizine (SDZ), sulfamonomethoxine (SMM), sulfamethoxazole (SMX), and sulfadimethoxine (SDM), with the individual purity ≥ 98%, were all purchased from Macklin (Shanghai, China); their chemical structures and related pKa and logP values are shown in Figure S1. Chromatographic pure acetonitrile (ACN) was obtained from ANPEL Laboratory Technologies (Shanghai, China), with purity ≥ 99.9%. Chromatographic pure acetic acid (HAc) was provided by Tianjin Kemiou Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Tianjin, China), with purity ≥ 98.8%. Analytical pure ACN, methyl alcohol (MeOH), dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), tetrachloroethane (C2H2Cl4), chlorobenzene (C6H5Cl), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), tetrachloromethane (CCl4), formic acid, n-hexane, and anhydrous sodium sulfate were all attained from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent (Shanghai, China), with individual purity ≥ 99.5%. Ultrapure water with the specific resistance of 18.2 MΩ.cm produced by Pall Cascada lab water purification system (Pall Corp., Westborough, MA, USA) was used for aqueous solution preparation throughout the present study.

Ferric chloride hexahydrate (FeCl 3 •6H 2 O), ethylene glycol (EG), polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG-4000), anhydrous sodium acetate (NaAc), tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane hydrochloride (Tris), HPLC grade formic acid and acetic acid (HAc) were all obtained from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China). Carboxyl-functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (O.D. 20-30 nm, length 0.5-2 µm) were supplied by Chengdu Organic Chemistry Co., Ltd (Chengdu, China). Dopamine hydrochloride (98%) was purchased from Aladdin (Shanghai, China). HPLC grade reagents 2-chlorophenol (2-CP), 4-chlorophenol (4-CP), 2,6-dichlorophenol (2,6-DCP), 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) and 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (2,4,6-TCP) were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (Shanghai, China). HPLC grade acetonitrile (ACN) and methanol (MeOH) were purchased from J&K Scientific (Shanghai, China).
Throughout the study, ultrapure water with the specific resistance of 18.2 MΩ cm was produced using the Pall Cascada™ lab water purification system (Pall Corp., USA) and was used for the preparation of aqueous solution. All other solvents and chemicals were of analytical grade and used directly without further purification.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
