Luria-Bertani (LB) medium was prepared by mixing 10 g•L - 1 tryptone, 5 g•L - 1 yeast extract and 10 g•L - 1 NaCl in 1000 mL deionized water, adjusted to 7.0 pH using NaOH. In total, the solid medium was prepared by adding 1.5-2.0% (w/v) agar. All media were autoclaved for 30 min at 121℃ before use.
SMX was purchased from Aladdin Company with purity above 98% (China). Zinc sulfate heptahydrate and other reagents were all analytical grade purchased from Tianjin Damao Chemical Reagent Factory, China.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
