Edta collection tubes
EDTA collection tubes are used to collect and store blood samples. EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is an anticoagulant that prevents blood from clotting. These tubes are designed to maintain the integrity of the blood sample for various laboratory analyses.

Plasma Separation from Peripheral Blood
Peripheral venous blood was drawn into pre-chilled EDTA collection tubes (Greiner Bio-One, Vilvoorde, Belgium) and quickly mixed by inversion. The plasma was separated from blood cells within 90 min by centrifugation at 4 °C, 1,200 x g for 15 min, and the supernatant was aliquoted and stored frozen at -80 °C.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
