All solutions were prepared with deionized water (Millipore system) with a resistance of 18.2 MΩ cm or greater. All chemicals used were reagent grade. Potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) was purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA), and a stock solution of 500 mg/L of chromium(VI) was prepared. Chromium(VI) solutions were prepared from dilutions from the stock solution. 1,5-Diphenylcarbazide, sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA), methacrylic acid (MAA), 1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (IL), iron (II) sulfate heptahydrate (FeSO4∙7H2O), sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, and methanol were also purchased from Sigma Aldrich.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
