Comprehensive Urinary Biomarker Assessment

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Urine NAG was measured using the NAG assay kit (Bio-quant, CA, USA). Urine creatinine was determined using a creatinine colorimetric detection kit (Enzo Life Sciences, NY, USA). Fibrinogen was measured using a Luminex-based assay kit (Millipore, MA, USA). Urinary protein biomarkers of Kim-1, NGAL, albumin, osteopontin, α-GST, GST-Yb1, RPA-1 and clusterin were measured using the rat multiplex assay kits and SECTOR Imager 2400 electrochemiluminescence detection platform (Meso Scale Discovery, MD, USA).

Kidney Function Evaluation Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To evaluate kidney function, we measured serum blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cre) with commercial kits (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China) according to the manufacturer's protocols. The commercial kit for measurement of Cre was based on creatinine acid oxidase method as previous reports [40 (link),41 (link)]. The levels of urine Fg were measured using commercially available species-specific Luminex-based assay kit from Millipore (Billerica, MA, USA). The levels of serum Cystatin C were analyzed by a mouse Cystatin C commercial kit (Elabscience Biotechnology Co.,Ltd, Wuhan, China). Subsequently, the optical density for measurement of serum Cystatin C was measured using a microplate reader (SYNERGY H4, BioTek, VT, USA) at the absorbance of 450 nm.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
