Cocoa butter raw material was obtained from Whitland Ltd. It is a by‐product of chocolate manufacturing process, which cannot be re‐used for foods manufacture. Tungsten powder (12 µm, 99.9%), Adogen 464 and deuterated chloroform were purchased from Aldrich. Ortho‐phosphoric acid (85% wt. in H2O), sodium chloride, chloroform, hydrogen peroxide (30% wt. in H2O) were purchased from Fisher Chemicals. Anhydrous magnesium sulphate was received from Acros Organics. Reagents were used without further purification. Diethyl ether, hexane, boron trifluoride Diethyl etherate (BF3·Et2O), sodium bicarbonate, tetrahydrofuran (THF), methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) were purchased from Sigma‐Aldrich.

All reagents were obtained from commercial sources. D-lactose, acetic anhydride, N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), trichloroacetonitrile, 1,8-diazabicyclo [5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU), boron trifluoride diethyl etherate (BF3·Et2O), propargyl alcohol, sodium metal, Dowex-50 resin (H+ form), 5-bromovaleryl chloride, 2,4-dimethyl pyrrole, triethylamine (TEA), N-iodosuccimide (NIS) were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Sodium azide, sodium ascorbate, copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate, sodium hydroxide (NaOH), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO3), magnesium sulfate (MgSO4), and ammonium carbonate [(NH4)2CO3] were procured from Daejung Chemical (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea) and used without further purification. Ethyl acetate (EtOAc), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), tetrahydrofuran (THF), methanol, and other solvents were of analytical grade and were dried under calcium hydride prior to use, except THF.
All compounds were characterized by 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy on a Bruker AM 250 spectrometer (Billerica, MA, USA) and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS) on a SYNAPT G2-Si high definition mass spectrometer (Waters, London, United Kingdom).

9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO) and 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl isothiocyanate (purity 98%) were acquired from TCI. Poly(propylene glycol) diglycidyl ether PPO GE (Mn = 640 g·mol−1), poly(methylhydrosiloxane) (PMHS, Mn = 2080 g·mol−1)[46 (link)], 4,4′-methylenebis(N,N-diglycidylaniline) (MBDA), tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) (purity 99%), 2,2′-biphenol, phosphorus trichloride (PCl3), diphenyl phosphite (DPP), diethyl phosphite (DEP), anhydrous tetrahydrofuran, lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide solution (LiHMDS 1M in THF), boron trifluoride diethyl etherate (BF3.Et2O) and cyclohexylamine, were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Darmstadt, Germany). Jeffamine® EDR-148 (2,2′-(ethylenedioxy)bis(ethylamine)) was kindly supplied by Huntsman. CO2 was acquired from Air Liquide. Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), ethyl acetate (AcOEt), dioxane, tetrahydrofuran (THF) and dichloromethane (DCM) were purchased from VWR International S.A.S (Fontenay-sous-Bois, France). The NMR solvents used are CDCl3 and DMSO-d6 from Eurisotop.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
