Magnetom triotim syngo mr b17 scanner

Manufactured by Siemens
Sourced in Germany

The Magnetom TrioTim syngo MR B17 scanner is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system manufactured by Siemens. It is designed to capture high-quality images of the human body for diagnostic purposes. The scanner utilizes a strong magnetic field and radio waves to generate detailed images of internal structures without the use of ionizing radiation.

All three-dimensional (3D), T1-weighted MRI scans of the participants were performed with a 3T Siemens (Erlangen, Germany) Magnetom TrioTim syngo MR B17 scanner, a 12-channel head coil and the following parameters: sagittal orientation, 192 slices per slab, 256 mm FoV read at 93.8%phase, voxel dimension 1 × 1 × 1 mm, repetition time (TR) 2,300 ms, echo time (TE) 2.91 ms, inversion time (TI) 900 ms, flip angle (FA) 9°.

Multimodal Neuroimaging Acquisition Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All structural and functional scans were acquired on a 3 T Siemens MAGNETOM TrioTim syngo MR B17 scanner equipped for echo planar imaging (EPI; Siemens, Erlangen, Germany) with a 32-channel phased array head coil. A T1-weighted MPRAGE (van der Kouwe et al., 2008 (link)) was acquired with a single shot, interleaved series with TR = 2530 ms, TE = 1.64 ms, FoV = 220 mm, and flip angle = 7.0°, yielding 176 slices with 1 mm3 resolution. The vNav-enabled scan estimated motion throughout the T1w scan and reacquired/replaced k-space data unduly affected by motion (Tisdall et al., 2012 (link)). All functional images were acquired with an interleaved, descending series with TR = 2000 ms, TE = 30 ms, FoV = 192 mm, flip angle = 90°, producing 32 slices with 3 mm3 resolution. Before each scan, six dummy volumes were acquired and discarded to reach equilibrium, and online prospective acquisition correction (PACE)(Thesen et al., 2000 (link)) was implemented to reduce the effect of motion artifacts on functional data. Subjects wore insert earphones designed to muffle the external scanner noise while clearly transmitting the sounds necessary for some functional tasks, and indicated button presses with their right index finger.

Functional Neuroimaging of Emotional Responses

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
A 3T Siemens Magnetom TrioTim syngo MR B17 scanner was used with a 12channel head coil using a tilted plane acquisition at the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre in Cambridge. T2-weighted echo planar images (EPI) using interleaved slices were acquired.
Parameters were TR=2000ms, TE=30ms, flip angle 78 degrees, matrix size 64x64, with 32 slices created with a slice thickness of 3mm (in-plane resolution 3mm x 3mm x 3mm). Onsets and durations for displaying each emotion-inducing image were encoded for subjects at the first level. Second-level analysis was computed using a mixed measures 5x2

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
