Nadp nadph determination kit

Manufactured by Abcam
Sourced in United States

The NADP/NADPH determination kit is a laboratory tool used to measure the levels of NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) and NADPH (the reduced form of NADP) in biological samples. The kit provides a colorimetric assay method for the quantitative determination of these important cofactors.

Measuring Cellular Bioenergetic Parameters

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
ROS production was assessed using a fluorogenic probe (CellRox Deep Red Reagent, Thermo Fisher Scientific) as described previously [24 (link)]. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) concentration was assessed using the Colorimetric ATP Assay Kit (Abcam, Cambridge, UK). ATP generation was normalized by the number of cells. The GSH concentration was calculated using the GSH-Glo Assay kit (Promega). Cellular NADPH contents were determined by a colorimetric determination method using an NADP/NADPH determination kit (Biovision, Milpitas, CA, USA). Mitochondrial membrane potential was measured by using the JC-1 Mitochondrial Membrane Potential Assay Kit (Cayman Chemical, Ann Arbor, MI, USA). All procedures were conducted according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Intracellular NADPH Quantification

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The intracellular NADPH content was determined by the colorimetric determination method using an NADP/NADPH determination kit according to the manufacturer's manual (Biovision, Milpitas, CA, USA). T24WT, T24GR, UMUC3WT, and UMUC3GR cells (5 × 106 each) were used for NADPH determination.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
