Neutrophil Depletion Protocol for Infection Studies

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For neutrophil depletion, 0.5 mg of 1A8 monoclonal (anti m Ly-6G; BioXcell, USA) was injected intraperitoneally (i.p.) for 4 days once a day from the day before the infection. 2A3 isotype control Ab (Rat IgG2a; BioXcell) was also injected i.p. as control. To evaluate neutrophil depletion, blood samples from orbital were withdrawn and analyzed by flow cytometry after staining with PE anti-CD11b (eBioscience) and FITC anti-Gr-1 antibody (eBioscience).

Neutrophil Depletion Modulates α-Galcer

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For neutrophil depletion, WT or CCL5-/- mice were intravenously administered 150 μg of either anti-mLy-6G (cat number: BE0075; 1A8; Bio X Cell) or isotype control antibody (cat number: BE0089; Rat IgG2a; Bio X Cell) 24 hours before α-Galcer treatment.

Ly-6G Antibody Impacts on Wild-type Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Wild‐type mice were injected (i.p.) with 500 µg of either 1A8 monoclonal antibody (anti‐mLy‐6G; Bioxcell, West Lebanon, NH, USA) or 2A3 isotype control (rat IgG2a; Bioxcell) three times per week for 10 weeks, with concurrent OH‐BBN administration in drinking water. Blood was collected in EDTA‐containing tubes by cardiac puncture following euthanasia. White blood cell populations were analysed using a ProCyte Dx Hematology Analyzer (IDEXX, Westbrook, ME, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
