Rabbit polyclonal cd31 antibody

Manufactured by Abcam
Sourced in United Kingdom

The Rabbit polyclonal CD31 antibody is a research-use-only product designed to detect the CD31 (PECAM-1) protein. CD31 is a cell adhesion molecule expressed on the surface of various cell types, including endothelial cells, platelets, and some immune cells. This antibody can be used to identify and study these cell populations.

Assessing Muscle Angiogenesis After HLI

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Fourteen days after HLI, the mice were sacrificed, and their gastrocnemius muscles were fixed in paraformaldehyde immediately after excision from the operative hind limbs and then embedded in paraffin. The endothelial cells in the tissue were stained with a rabbit polyclonal CD31 antibody (Abcam, Cambridge, UK). Five random fields from each section were imaged with a Zeiss digital camera. Vascular density was quantified with Image-Pro Plus 6 software.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
