Pharmacological Modulation of Vascular Tone

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The following drugs were used: bradykinin, diethylamine NONOate (DEA NONOate), diltiazem, 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), levcromakalim, nitro-l-arginine (NLA), and NS1619 (Sigma Chemical, St. Louis, MO); BMS 191011, and iberiotoxin, (Tocris, Ellisville, MO); apelin-13, and F13A (H-Gln-Arg-Pro-Arg-Leu-Ser-His-Lys-Gly-Pro-Met-Pro-Ala-OH trifluoroacetate salt) (Bachem, Torrance, CA). Drug solutions were prepared fresh daily, kept on ice, and protected from light until used. All drugs were dissolved in double-distilled water with the exception of BMS 191011 and NS1619, which were dissolved initially in DMSO prior to further dilution in double-distilled water. Drugs were added to the myograph chambers in volumes not greater than 0.02 ml. Drug concentrations are reported as final molar concentrations in the myograph chamber.

In Vitro and In Vivo Evaluation of BMS-191011 and NS11021 in TNBC

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
BMS-191011 (Tocris) and NS11021 (Tocris) were prepared in 10 mM DMSO stock. The working concentrations of 10-50 μM contained 1-5 μl of DMSO in 1 mL DMEM medium, resulting in 0.1–0.5% of DMSO, which did not affect TNBC cells (Fig. S7). For testing in vivo effects of MDA-MD-231, 3 μl of 10 mM (equivalent to 186.82 ng) stock was added to 1 mL PBS, 50 μl was administrated directly into the xenograft grown in mouse via during day time in the animal imaging facility. For testing adverse effects of the drug, tail-vein injection was used.

For testing in vivo effects of MDA-MD-231, 3ml of 10mM (equivalent to 186.82ng) stock was added to 1mL PBS, 50ml was administrated directly into the xenograft grown in mouse via during day time in the animal imaging facility. For testing adverse effects of the drug, tail-vein injection was used.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
