Protein Expression and Purification Protocol

Isocarbophos-Chlorpyrifos DNA Aptamer Synthesis

Shanghai Pesticide Research Institute (Shanghai, China), and chlorpyrifos
(98%) was provided by Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Shanghai,
China). Acetone was purchased from Xilong Scientific Co., Ltd. (Shantou,
China). A 3′-pyrene-labeled isocarbophos DNA aptamer (5′-AGCTTGCTGCAGCGATTCTTGATCGCCACAGAG
CT-3′) was synthesized by TaKaRa Bio. Inc. (Dalian, China).
β-Cyclodextrin was bought from Sigma-Aldrich Co., Ltd. Tris
hydroxymethyl aminomethane, toluene, epichlorohydrin, isopropanol,
and sodium hydroxide were obtained from China National Pharmaceutical
Group Co., Ltd. 10× Exo I buffer (67 mM MgCl2, 670
mM glycine–KOH, 10 mM dithiothreitol, pH = 9.5) and Exo I were
provided by Sangon Biotech Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). The ultrapure
water was provided by a Millipore water purification system (≥18.2
MΩ cm).

Synthesis and Characterization of Iodinated Pyridinecarboximidamide

Iodized 3-pyridinecarboximidamide (3API) was synthesized by dissolving 1 g of pyridecarboximidamide (98%, Damas-beta) and 2.25 g hydroiodic acid (HI, 57 wt.% in water, Aldrich) in 10 mL ethanol followed by stirring at 0 °C for 6 h for crystallization. The obtained 3API crystals was dissolved in ethanol for recrystallization. The resulting product was dried at 50 °C in a vacuum oven for 24 h. 3APBr and 3APCl were obtained via a similar fabrication procedure.
Formamidinium iodide (FAI), Pb (II) iodide (PbI2), and spiro-OMeTAD were procured from Advanced Election Technology Co., Ltd. Methylammonium chloride (MACl), Poly[bis(4-phenyl)(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)amine]) (PTAA) and phenylethylammonium iodide (PEAI) were obtained from Xi’an Polymer Light Technology Co. Chlorobenzene (CB) (anhydrous, 99.8%), Toluene (anhydrous, 99.8%) and isopropanol (IPA) (anhydrous, 99.5%) were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) (anhydrous, 99.8%) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) (anhydrous, ≥99.9%) were obtained from Alfa Aesar Inc. 4-tert-butylpyridine (t-BP, 99%), bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonamide lithium salt (Li-TFSI, 99.95% trace metals basis), HI solution (55–58 wt.% in water), HBr solution (48 wt.% in water), and HCl (37 wt.% in water), were purchased from Aladdin.

Quantitative Analysis of PCBs

The compounds in Table 1 were provided in a standard solution from o2si smart solutions (Charleston, SC, USA) containing 18 PCB congeners (indicator PCBs: 28, 52, 101, 118, 138, 153, and 180; dioxin-like PCBs: 77, 81, 105, 114, 118, 123, 126, 156, 157, 167, 169, and 189) at 10 mg/L each in n-hexane. MWCNTs-COOH (length, 10–30 μm; diameter, 10–20 nm) were purchased from Nanjing XFNANO Materials Tech Co., Ltd. (Nanjing, China). Primary secondary amine (PSA; particle size, 40–60 μm), graphitized carbon black (GCB; particle size, 40–120 μm), and octadecylsilane (C18; particle size, 40–60 μm) were from Tianjin Bonna-Agela Technologies Co., Ltd. (Tianjin, China). n-Hexane was of HPLC grade and purchased from Oceanpak Alexative Chemical., Ltd (Goteborg, Sweden). All other chemical reagents like acetonitrile, acetone, toluene, anhydrous Na2SO4, and anhydrous MgSO4 in this research were of analytical grade or better and purchased from Shanghai Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China).

Fabrication of Superhydrophobic Surfaces
