Quantification of IFN-β in Aortic Tissue

Endothelium‐removed aortas were homogenized in 200 µL of sterile PBS, and then centrifuged at 5000 × g for 5 min at 4 °C. The supernatant was obtained and IFNβ level was measured in duplicate using a mouse IFNβ ELISA kit (R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
